Hello everyone !
This is my first official blog post and this would be a brief introduction about myself, the website, and the contents I plan on filling you guys up with.
My name is Sulyman Rukayat Olayinka, I have a B.sc. in Anatomy with a master’s degree in Public Health (in view)
I’m a fitness and healthy lifestyle enthusiast. I love talking about the healthy ways to eat food and how to maximize the benefits of every meal while enjoying what you’re eating.
This blog would mostly talk about how to eat healthy and the different kinds of food recommendations for people with certain illnesses that are quite common in our society.
Many people (usually adults) deal with problems like diabetes, hypertension, liver diseases, kidney problems and many more but in recent times the age group of people dealing with these diseases has significantly dropped to people who would be classified as “young”.
Usually, a 40-year-old should not have a stroke or have severe kidney diseases but now it is unfortunate that many people even less than 40 suffer from strokes and many unpleasant illnesses.
My first thought was that this is due to the change in environment or maybe it’s just the way things are now (changing world and all).
Someone close to me, a very young person developed a disease and we just couldn’t understand why that would happen to that individual because they’re not “old”.
So I started to make research and find out ways in which these diseases can develop in younger people. I spoke to my Grandma who is quite old and has seen our generation develop and she said “this your generation loves to eat pasta”.
I did not understand what she meant because I love pasta and I didn’t see anything wrong with eating it. But that started a string of thoughts. I started to make finding on how different meals are made, nutrients they contain, how they help us, how they cause harm to us. and I realized “we are what we eat”
We need to be very conscious about what we put in our bodies (this is not me saying that we should not eat pasta). But how often do we eat it? How often do we eat the appropriate meal that would benefit us? Or do we all keep eating carbs and junks at every meal.
It is very important for everyone regardless of age or gender to figure out how to implement the appropriate classes of food at each meal.
Eating right improves every part of the body from the skin to the brain, the eyes, the organs basically.
I hope you’re as excited as I am.
Looking forward to seeing your comments💭
